Looking for a convenient way to participate in professional development courses? Learning Links, NSLP’s free, monthly webcast series is your “link” to the information you need. Series topics have been designed especially for financial aid professionals and will range from policy updates to financial literacy and student loan education.
This month's topics are:
Return to Title IV - Presented by Linda Butcher
NSLP will explain how Title IV funds are handled when a student ceases to be enrolled prior to the end of a payment period or period of enrollment. This session will focus on using the Department of Education’s R2T3 worksheets as our guide to R2T4.
Linda Butcher is a Policy Analyst and Associate Ombudsman at NSLP and has been with our company for almost 16 years. Linda holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and is also an Accredited Financial Counselor through the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE). Linda recently completed the training recognized by the State of Nebraska’s Office of Dispute Resolution and now volunteers as a mediator.
Presenting a Professional Image - Presented by Shelley Sutton
When you deliver your message, does the audience hear and see you? Is your delivery believable? During this Learning Links we will explore what makes your delivery strong and what makes your audience sit up and take notice.
Shelley Sutton is currently the Executive Director of the Kansas Continuing Legal Education Commission, a regulatory agency of the Kansas Supreme Court. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fort Hays State University and a Master of Science degree from Kansas State University. Both of Shelley’s degrees have an emphasis in Communication. Her professional experience includes lobbying, association management and public relations.
