Loan Management: Loan Summary

Simplify your loan summary process

  (Use e-mail and password)

Students need to keep track of the total amount they have borrowed. Our Loan Summary makes it easy to deliver this information to them in a convenient and easy-to-use format.

Here’s how it works:

  • Based on reported anticipated graduation dates (or on request), we prepare the Loan Summary.
  • When the Loan Summary is available, we notify the financial aid office.
  • Financial aid administrators can then view, print, and download the data roster.
  • The financial aid administrator notifies the student.
  • Student borrowers can access their Loan Summaries from our Loan Inquiry/Summary website and view their information in English or Spanish.

Extended Exit Counseling is one more convenient process NSLP provides to help you educate your graduating or exiting students about managing their student loans.

After students leave your school, NSLP sends and e-mail to them on your behalf at 30, 90, and 150 days.  The e-mail includes tips about who holds their loans, when repayment begins, and where to send their payments.  Students can also find links to online loan locators, financial management tools, and calculators.

To participate in Extended Exit Counseling, log into your Loan Summary account and choose "Edit My Profile".  Check the "Extended Exit Counseling box in the "School Profile section, and select "Update".
