These organizations are involved
with your loan---contact them if you need assistance.
Lender gives you the money for your student loan.
Talk to your lender if you need help:
- changing your monthly payment
- getting a deferment or forbearance to delay or reduce your payment
- consolidating your student loans
- making your loan payments
Secondary Market
buys student loans from lenders who
sell them. If your loan is sold by your lender, you'll repay the
secondary market instead of the original lender.
Servicer manages student loans for some lenders or secondary
markets.
Guaranty Agency provides repayment insurance for your lender
and collects the loan from you if you do not pay your lender.
National Student Loan Program (NSLP) is a guaranty
agency.
