What do you need to do to use
EASI-App?
Direct your students to the EASI-App website,
or integrate it into your school's website. You provide the online
lender list your students use to select a lender in EASI-App. It's
compatible with any lender's process.
What do your students need to use
EASI-App?
Students access EASI-App through the Internet from any PC using a
secure web browser. Students who choose a lender with an online
loan process follow that lender's software and hardware
guidelines.
What types of loans does EASI-App
handle?
EASI-App accommodates both Stafford and PLUS loans. If the borrower
chooses a lender with an online loan process, the borrower can
access any education loan offered by that lender.
Does EASI-App require students to use a personal
identification number?
You choose whether to require your students to
use a PIN for added security. Students who choose a lender with an
online loan process will follow that lender's
requirements.
Is my school notified when the student completes the
EASI-App process?
Yes. When the student completes the lender's
or NSLP's online loan process, you receive a CommonLine school
certification file.
