Default Prevention and Financial Literacy: Special Events

NSLP and UDC Sponsor Hilarious "Ultimate Cheapskate"

Understanding your Enoughasaurus--deciding what's enough for you--is just one of many tips public speaker, author and media personality Jeff Yeager will share at Finding Wholesale Happiness in Retail World.

Touted as the “Titan of Tightwads,” Jeff offers plenty of tips that will make you laugh, think and maybe make you a cheapskate.

"Jeff Yeager has been one of our favorite guests over the years…he’s turned pinching pennies into an art form.”
– Matt Lauer, NBC Today Show

Yeager’s lively, one-hour talk is based on his popular new book, The Ultimate Cheapskate’s Road Map to True Riches: A Practical (and Fun) Guide to Enjoying Life More by Spending Less, which tells how to live a happier, healthier and fuller life…but only if you’re NOT willing to pay the price.

Yeager spent 24 years working as a CEO and senior executive with national nonprofit organizations in Washington, DC before launching his career as a freelance writer, public speaker and broadcast journalist in 2004. He translated his experience
as the self-proclaimed “Titan of Tightwads” in the nonprofit sector to his own personal finances to reduce his dependency on money, leaving him free to pursue his interests without inordinate worry over a paycheck.
