Special Report on Blanket Guaranty--
December 11, 2000
NSLP, the nation's first guarantor to offer blanket guaranty,
issued a special report about its highly successful blanket
guaranty pilot program. Since it began, over $250 million FFELP
loans have been disbursed to students across the country. Schools
can reduce the time from loan certification to loan receipt, making
same-day loan delivery a routine event.

NSLP
Completes Year with Record Loan Volume--
October 10, 2000
NSLP completed fiscal year 2000 with another record increase in
loan volume of 20% over last year - guaranteeing more than $809
million Stafford and PLUS loans, and another $76 million in
Consolidation loans. NSLP is among the top 10 largest guaranty
agencies out of 36 in the country.

Successful
Blanket Guaranty Program to Continue--

Over a year ago, NSLP became the first guaranty agency in the
nation authorized to offer blanket certificates of guaranty to its
lenders. Since that time, 57 lenders have joined NSLP's blanket
guaranty program and over $133 million FFELP loans have been
disbursed to students attending 269 schools in 44 states. Schools
and lenders participating in NSLP's blanket guaranty pilot program
report they are pleased how it streamlines the delivery of loans to
students.

NSLP Donates
Scholarship Funds to Help Students--
June 22, 2000
A dozen students will be able to pursue higher education this year
as a result of the "Reaching Your Potential" Scholarship
Program awards, which include a $5,000 donation from NSLP. To make
sure students have enough funds to complete their education, NSLP
agreed to contribute up to $5,000 for each of the next 5 years.

Schools Pleased with NSLP's Blanket Guaranty
Process--
April 21, 2000
Last August, NSLP was the first guaranty agency to receive blanket
guaranty authority from the Department of Education. Over 50
schools are now receiving their student loan disbursements from
lenders using NSLP's blanket guaranty, and are pleased with how the
process is working.
